What does eVeek (BBMS) do?
We help people and organizations learn to be much more productive with their BlackBerry handhelds while saving time and money. We do this primarily with our library of short training videos. (See video samples here) Our videos are all "short and to the point" (most just 3-5 minutes long), enjoyable and describe the best tips and tricks in "plain English." Will the Videos save us time and money?
Yes. Videos are the most cost-effective way to train your BlackBerry users. You will save money by not paying for expensive trainers or web-training and save even more money by not having to train or hire more help desk staff.
Will the Videos reduce calls to our help desk?
Yes. Many users will learn all the basics and advanced tips & tricks by watching the videos. And, what's even better, if they have a question, then can use the keyword search feature to pinpoint and answer their question without every calling your help desk. The BlackBerry user is happier because they answered their own question. Your help desk is happier because they have fewer "HOW TO" calls from users.

How do the eVeek "BBMS Hosted" video coupons work?
You purchase and receive a coupon code for a certain number of users, usually less than 50% of your active user base. Each user account is active for 1 year from date of creation. The coupon does not expire.
Day to day operations: You send an email to every BlackBerry user including new users with a link containing your coupon code. Users then decide whether or not they need training and use the link to setup their own Video Training account. Benefit: You are only paying for training for those who want it! (Bonus: If you desire, we will setup a branded video menu system just for your users - so it looks like your in-house training.)
Can we deploy videos on our internal servers?
Yes! You buy a Site License and deploy the videos on your file server, intranet web server, learning management system, SharePointTM server, or similar for unlimited duration use.
Do you offer discounted pricing for non-profits, government and educational institutions?
Not at the moment.
I'm worried about size of the video library - how big is it?
Not big. The total library is just about 1 (one) gigabyte.
What format are the videos?
They are in Adobe FLASH format.
Can the videos be watched on both WindowsTM and Apple MacTM computers?
Yes! Since they are in Adobe FLASH format, you can watch them on any computer's web browser.
Do you keep up to date with new BlackBerry releases?
Yes. We release new videos very shortly after major new BlackBerry models are released. We have added approximately 100 new videos in the last 12 months.
Note: Major BlackBerry releases have resulted in between 40-60 new videos being added to the library.
How can buy new videos or other updates after our initial purchase?
Pay a 20% Annual Maintenance Fee. RECOMMENDED OPTION. NOTE: This option is only available to you at your time of initial purchase. If you think your organization might buy newer BlackBerry models, or want newer videos for existing models or might want to enjoy updates to the video menu system, PDF files or quizzes, then this option is the most affordable one. Pay the 20% annual maintenance fee starting with your first year to receive all videos, PDF files, menu updates, quiz updates added to the Library at no additional cost.
Can we watch these videos on our BlackBerry Handhelds?
Yes - Coming Soon. We are beginning this conversion process and hope to have the 88xx, 83xx (CurveTM) and 81xx (PearlTM) video library converted over to be viewable on these model BlackBerries by the end of 1Q 2008.
When the BlackBerry-viewable videos cost more?
We have not determined final pricing for videos viewable on the BlackBerry.
How do we receive the Videos to install on our Intranet?
We ship you a DVD with all the videos.
How hard is it to install the Videos on our servers?
It is very easy. You can simply copy over the videos and existing menu system and you can be up and running in minutes. Check out our Installation Guide.
Can we customize which videos our users can watch?
Yes. You may either customize our menu system (shipped on the DVD) or create your own menu system. Each video is modular and contained in its own HTML file - so you just link to that file.
Can I see the license agreement?
Yes. Read our site license agreement to learn more.
Can we request new videos be developed by you?
Yes. If we deem that these videos will be useful for our entire user base, then these videos will be created at no additional cost to you.
If you request these videos only be for your own internal use ("Custom Videos"), or we deem that these videos will not be useful for all our customers, then we will charge you a project-based cost to develop them. You will own a perpetual license to these videos and can use them indefinitely.
What is pricing for us when we host the videos?
Pricing starts at just US$745.00 for up to 15 Total BlackBerry Users and less for a government, non-profit or educational institution. Request Quote to find out how much the videos will cost for your organization.
Is your pricing based on total users or concurrent users?
Our pricing is based on the total number of BlackBerry users in your organization that could access the videos. If you have a special circumstance, then please note that in the quote form.
