Theme Contest Winners!
It is time to announce the eVeek ‘08 Theme Fest winners! I gotta tell you it’s been a real surprise to see that both winners are not even pro but have produced themes better than most Premium content out there! It’s hard to believe that such attention to detail was put in to create some pretty neat theme ideas. Our 2 top winners scored high in Usability with a great Overall appeal.
So without further ado, allow me to introduce the eVeek ‘08 Theme Fest winners!
1st Place – Expanse
The number one winner was “Expanse” by cakeeater! The attention to detail here is excellent – a great example of how far quality icons, consistent styles, unique GUI, and a great wallpaper can get you! My favorite part of this one is the unique icon rollover effect that you need to experience for yourself! The clean, user friendly design made this theme our 1st place winner! Congratulations cakeeater!

2nd Place – Toxic
Coming in second is Toxic. Now this theme is downright hilarious! Every icon is a beaker of chemicals with a minimal design style. Creativity was the obvious highest score here making it a very close second place winner by only 2 points! There’s just something about the simplicity of this theme that makes it funny! It was build for the Pearl and Curve running the earlier OS versions by our very own Unknown7!
